A set of stoneware bookends made from fossil bearing rocks containing the genuine fossil shells of Goniatites and Orthoceras from the Devonian age Limestone deposits of Morocco.
The bookends measure approx 120mm (4.75 inches) tall and weigh a total of 1.8kg in total weight
Orthoceras were a type of squid-like creature with a pointed conical shell and Goniatites had coiled shells. These animals lived in the oceans of the Devonian period approx 350 million years ago.
